A Data Protection Officer (DPO) has not been appointed; under Art. 37 GDPR appointment is not mandatory (we are not a public authority, our core activities do not involve large-scale regular and systematic monitoring, nor large-scale processing of special categories of data).

We share your data only with the following categories of recipients and processors, strictly to the extent required for the purposes above:

  • Web hosting provider - site hosting and operation, access logs (EU).

We do not sell your data nor pass it to third parties for their marketing purposes.

5. Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Some of our processors are based outside the European Union. This mainly concerns:

  • USA - Google LLC, Meta Platforms Inc., EmailJS Inc. Safeguard: EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework certification + Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) approved by the European Commission under Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914.
  • Chile - local service suppliers during the expedition (only after contract conclusion, strictly to the extent necessary to perform the contract under Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR). Chile does not currently benefit from an EU adequacy decision; the transfer relies on the contract-performance derogation.

A full processor list with current contacts and safeguards is available on request at office@aysenfjord.com.

  • Newsletter: until consent is withdrawn (unsubscribe link in the email or email to newsletter@aysenfjord.com).

After the retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised so that no individual can be identified.

10. Children and minors

The expedition is for adults only (18+). We do not knowingly process personal data of children under 15 (the valid-consent threshold in the Czech Republic under Section 7 of Act No. 110/2019 Coll.). If you believe a child has supplied us data without guardian consent, contact us - we will delete it immediately.
